Thanks!

Welcome to the Forum!
Welded.
Details of the welding locations/process can be found in the Assembly Instruction Manual (A.I.M.) specific for your year Corvette. Access to an AIM is particularly useful when doing major restoration. The AIM is the process instruction workers used when building the Corvette and you want the A.I.M. that is SPECIFIC to your year car.
You might search the Forum for threads on birdcage repair - sections of the birdcage are available for replacement/strengthening repairs.

Is that a picture from a birdcage at the factory ?
When I replaced my body mounts I had to remove all the rocker channel and weld in new.
The kit came in three pieces, the main rocker and two inserts. I weld them together and fit them inside the pillar post. Then I welded them to the post. I believe you can just buy the inserts and weld them the same way.
Hey guys thanks for the responses!! I figured they were welded but wanted to make sure.. I have been taking many pics of the resto and i will be posting them in the near future! Thanks Again!!!
