These are the codes for the original acrylic lacquer. You will probably not find acrylic lacquer these days. Your paint supplier might be able to take these codes and come up with a modern paint which would be a close match to 68 Rally Red.
My understanding is that rally red was the only red available from the factory from 1965 to 1968; it was replaced by monza red for 1969, which was in turn replaced by mille miglia in 1972.
The catalog vendors sell little bottles of touch up paint, I got mine from Mid America it's pretty close

Reason: add info
Hi cob,
IF the touch-up paint from the vendor is not a god match to the paint on your car it could be for MANY different reasons.
In that case, if you wanted to go through the trouble, you could have the local auto pant wholesaler match the paint on your car using his computer scanner.
I'm not sure just how much that costs, or how much paint you need to buy, but it would be a possibility if you get desperate.
Good Luck!
Regards,
Alan
Thanks Alan, just a small amount but it is on top of the fender and will stick out. I will buy 1 oz jar of Ralley Red and try it in a spot no one can see. If that does not work I will try you idea.
Thanks
