Gullwing Doors?

Gullwing Doors?
Ok, I know it's probably insane to even think about it, but I've seen a few pictures of cars w/ gullwing doors and it just gets me thinking. Is it even possible to make that type of conversion for a vette? Would it look totally crazy? Has anyone ever done or heard of anything along these lines? I wasn't considering the doors like the delorean (sp?) but more like a new BMW I saw : http://www.news24.com/News24/Wheels2...175251,00.html I know it's probably ludacris to even consider it but tell me what you think.

ANYTHING is possible. Some things may be harder than others. :smash:
If you've never done any of this type of custom work you need to spend a bunch of time researching the requirements before you cut up your car and discover that you do not have the skills needed. No custom shop is going to take on your half finished project. I don't know of any custom shop web sites that are going to offer any insight in to the scope of this type of adventure. In fact I'm not sure that you'll find any of them that would be willing to answer your questions either.
Do not take this as a recommendation to not do it. I'm all for independant thinking. :cheers:

Their is a guy who does stuff like this to Pontiac Fiero's. Maybe you can check it out or email him for advice.
