No.... the switch body must have gnd. to it.
the oem method is pyhsical contact with a gnded. Bezel.
I run a seperate gnd wire to the switch.
on the switch housing there should be a metal tang sticking out, run a gnd wire to it.
also be careful it is easy to plug the wiper switch connector on backwards.
