Quick question about frame bushings...
1) Is it possible to replace the bushings between the frame and body without completely lifting the body off the frame?
2) Has anyone used the poly frame bushings? Recommend them or go back to stock rubber bushings?
I took a peek at my frame bushings and they are cracking, I would like to replace them without doing a complete frame off...

you can lift 1 side at a time, and reach in and swap them.
swap all mounts on one side then the other.
my 69 orginals were crumbled Aluminum, I replaced with Poly.

My rear body mounts were entirely rotted and nearly gone. But the inside mounts just had cracking and if not for the rear i would have left them.
Now for my recommendation, in case do u try this I would have replaced the very front and very rear mounts with ploy bushings and the two inside mounts rubber - yes mix them. This gives very weather resistant bushing where they see the most weather and provides more squish under the passenger compartment. I have owned a car before that were all poly mounts and it felt more like a tank - even lane markers were a good jolt. I say this now but i replaced all mine with rubber before i realized it. Well what happened was the brand new rear mounts got torn up with just the specified torque. I had to replace them and use much less final torque - stopped torquing as soon as the rubber started to deform.

As for replacing the mounts with the body on u need to do a search. There is a different website that describes how someone with a '78 or later C3 lifted the body just one side at a time. Once everything was unbolted and disconnected i used a 2"x4" along the body side panels under the doors to lift the body just high enough to get the old bushings out and new ones in. But there was very little rust on my birdcage runners/connectors and my mounting bolts came right out. Others have had a nightmare with rust and forced them into a body off - often the frame mounted nuts will spin or separate.
The decision is yours if want to go there. Now u can see the body mounts with a flashlight through a tiny space between the body and frame. My warning is if u see anything more than surface rust don't go there.Anyways i followed most of the procedure someone else wrote except i didn't need to disassemble my front end as much as he did. But getting the rubber bushings to drop in correctly took more than one try.
I will try to find that w/s and will post if if i do.
Some big decisions for u but unless u are prepared for the worst then some minor cracking on the rubber bushings is really nothing. Another option is a body & frame shop. Price shop and u may be surprised what a real shop can do - around the holidays most are begging for work.
