Steering
I am looking at buying a 77 4 spd car. Haven't looked at it yet but talked to the guy. Most of the work has been done. I'm told that the "steering" needs replaced. Not exactly sure what that means, but I presume it leaks. Can someone give me an idea awhat I'm looking at cost wise to replace the steering components

Steering parts are not that costly for c3 corvettes. So if you can do the labor yourself its pretty cheap.
But if you plan on keeping it a while and driving it a decent amount look into the rack and pinion steering system.
