Default Water Spots

I have researched the forum on how to remove water spots and could not come up with anything good. Since the car is now in in the garage all winter I have the time to get aggressive with the spots. I am very vervous about using a light sand paper or steel wool but am willing to try. Really need step by step instructions on how to sove the problem.

OK I just did this a few days ago and posted this on my local site ..

OK so I have had these hard water spots on my car since I got the car..
I tried everything and it kinda worked but not 100% ,,, still a lot of spots all overs..
Well when i had the new windshield installed I asked what would take them out..
Well he sold me CRL-Sparkle C.R. Laurence Co. it was 10.00 for 8 oz of this stuff..

Man this stuff worked great, No more spots... its amazing how well this stuff worked..

Just some FYI for you guys with hard water spots......

Wait, you said it for your windows....

I got a few splashes on my brand new paint job and got it off as fast as I got it on there,,,didnt seem to do anything.
Just be careful when putting it on the windows..
I stepped away from the car when I put it on my rag....
you will get a lot of dust on your second rag when taking it off..
I again stepped away from the car and cleared the rag of the extra dust.

You might try simple, white vinegar first. Works for most water spots though you should rinse it off afterwards. I'm sure the product mentioned by Ptroxx will work better though.

And when you're done with the vinegar you can make a tasty salad!
