By any chance, would it be possible for the owner of this engine compartment to take a vacation in the Hawaiian Islands?...... :seeya Cappy

Re: Engine compartment: before-transition-today (Red73)
Sweet! I take it you like red. 2 questions though; Where did you get the temp gauge for the intake coolant? I like the idea. And is it just my old fart eyes or is your alternator belt seriously out of alignment?

Re: Engine compartment: before-transition-today (C3 Shark Tank)
Cappy, I'm on my way.
C3 Shark Tank: Mooneyes and it's the angle the picture was taken.
78Vette-SA: I won't all your toys. I'd love to build the street rod like you're building. Maybe that's why I'm modifying my vette the way I do is because of the street rodder in me.

Re: Engine compartment: before-transition-today (Red73)
Red73- thanks for the info, but you could have been nice and said I'm not an old fart :D I figured it was just the angle, it looked too far off to stay on, and I didn't think that anyone who spent the time required to make their engine look that good would have a belt that far off. Any time you want to come to Florida and improve mine let me know....5 minutes to the beach.

Re: Engine compartment: before-transition-today (Red73)
I see alot of references to Simple Green. One problem I had with it: I cleaned my engine with it, but must not have rinsed it off all the way, cuz it formed a crust on my valve covers and intake the is still there after scrubbing with other products.
