Can anyone whom may have been down this road give me the heads up whom is the best vendor to purchase a set of Big Block pulleys to suit factory brackets??
I have searched and scraped around here ( New Zealand), tried various after maket pulleys but nothing seems to work right.
So i'm about to bite the bullet and buy a repo set.
early 396 Camaros [67-68] use the same water pump and alternator mounted on the left side therefore you could use those pulleys and there cast iron alternator bracket too....the car below also has PS and AC

I bought all of the factory reproduction big block pulleys and brackets from Corvette Central. The pulleys were really good quality....the repro brackets on the other hand sucked.... I am still fighting with the PS pump bracket trying to bend/tweak it to help with belt alignments on the PS pump pulley...
I spent some serious jack on those pulleys and brackets.... Water pump pulley alone was like $200 for a 3 groove....
I think I spent about a grand on all of the pulleys and brackets...

Those camaro brackets are not even close to the same as the vette brackets.....They may still work but....they arent the same. That alternator sits way too high for a Vette....hood wont clear it.

I went through this a few months ago when it was said the alt is too high...sorry but its the 'same bracket as shown in the Corvette Central book and on both of my cars in question plus 3 more
unless I have the only Vette that uses a Camaro alt bracket and I know that's not correct...as I own them both and from new..

The brackets are very similar but not the same.
Camaro bracket
Corvette bracket
If you look close you will notice the corvette bracket mounts the alternator lower.
I actually tried the non-vette bracket on my car, and the top of the alternator hit the hood.
