For those with plastic rear windows...
The plastic rear window in my '70 convertible is "fogged" over pretty bad (I can't see anything through it). I ordered the Clear Plastics kit from Meguiars that is supposed to help repair minor scratches, remove "yellowing", and clear up the fog in clear plastics. The kit just arrived today, so I'm hoping to try it this weekend. The Meguiar's kit includes:
1) #17 Clear Plastic Cleaner- This is the first step...it's supposed to do the most to remove the hazing/fading and scratches.
2) #10 Clear Plastic Polish- This is the second step and follows the #17.
3) #18 Clear Plastic Detailer- This is a spray product used for maintaining
clear plastics.
I'll let you know how it goes and if this stuff really works. I'll also take some Before and After pic's.
