I bought a 2 post lift built buy a company called bend pak. Would not trade it for the world. Works on my C3 and C5 rated at 9000 lbs and cost $2600 and if i recall that included shipping.

I have a Superior 4-post (Forum group purchase) and it does the job for me. I think that 2-posts give you more room to work, but I don't like the idea of leaving a car on them for long periods of time, which I can do with the 4-poster.
On the 4-poster - I prefer the external locks as you can easily check the position of the lock-dogs, something I'm very careful about. Try to visit some and talk to the owners to see for yourself. I would think that there should be someone w/in driving distance if you're in FL. Maybe think about a separate topic asking the question?

I have a stinger 4 post and would not trade it for anything. I really like the way you can wheel it around with the car on it. It makes things so easy to get done.

I have a small garage with a low ceiling. Turns out I have only 3 inches total clearance to work with top and bottom. I sent drawings and had several telephone conversations with the folks that make STINGER lifts before buying. I ordered a special height lift and it's set up with a hydraulic limit switch that keeps my Vette from hitting the ceiling and has been a great piece of equipment.
