Before I buy any parts I want to get a last check.
The past couple days I have been doing much thinking and research on what to do with my car. I want to keep my 350 and get as much tq/hp, leaning towards torque, as I can get. I asked many questions about a 383 and decided to build a block on the side while I wait to put more money and attention to.
I will match the carb and distributor but I want to make sure that this will be a good build and not change out of the 350.
MY last question is with this build or similar one which gears should I run I have a th350 transmission with a shift kit, tires are 255/60/15.
I was recommend 4.11 but I drive highways often but still want some bang, should I go 3.55, 3.70, or 4.11
I want to start ordering very soon but if there is a better part I can switch out it would be awesome instead of regretted it once I put it in later which I have already done.
Thanks

Oh I forgot to give you my reason for going 3.55's, I will be installing a TKO-600 and the 3.55s work well with the 2.87 first gear of the tremic. If you're going to stick with the TH350 in the long run, 3.73 or 4.11s may get you a better launch with its 2.48 first gear. but then you'll have to figure your cam and stall speed for those too.
Im running a stall but I dont remember what it is I think a 2500 and for the intake I will be running the edel performer not airgap, I already have it and I heard I would have clearence problems with the air intake, dont feel like changing hood. I will be sticking to the th350

The Performer is about the same as your old stock intake as far as performance. An RPM air gap will fit under the stock hood with a drop base air cleaner, at least it will with stock heads. The Air Gap will give you the performance that the heads and cam are asking for, the performer will not work quite as well. Look into which head gaskets you want, you can get a slight boost in compression by using thinner gaskets.

Thanks now that I think about I prob could still run it. But with all the things picked out including if I go airgap performer will this be good to run as in tq and power, it might be a good build but I expect alot from these parts?

I downloaded a spreadsheet that had various dyno results from different SBC packages. If you PM me an email address, I can send it to you, and you can get a ballpark idea of what any one combination will likely do.
There is no exact match to what you are proposing, but an old test of a 350 with AFR 190's had the following results:
It's a funny thing, modding for power. It seems everyone would be satisfied with just a bit more, and just a bit more is always available with just a bit more money.
I'm not sure what "medium wild" means to you, but the 380 lb./ft. in the combination above is comparable to what a modern LS based V8 puts down. That's nothing to sneeze at.

Well the sound of makes me satisfied, I guess my only concern left now is the heads. and idk what combines better 180 cc or 190 I know 195 were to said to to big and I want to stick with afr
