Discovered a neighbor with a '69 roadster hidden in the garage. Taking lots of work (been off the road since '75) and needs some work on the aluminum radiator. Prefers that to buying a replacement. Looked in my NCRS mags, but didn't se anyone that does restorations. Any contacts out there in the SW Ohio area?
I don't know anyone who does restorations but call Tom DeWitt. He's a forum vendor who does NCRS replacements. He would prob be able to help you out...
If it is an original Harrison aluminum radiator there isn't any repair available as far as flushing or rodding out. Been there, tried all the tricks. If you are talking cosmetic restoration that is a different story.

Agree with others. There is NO way to repair an old Harrison Aluminum radiator. Been there, done that. Tried many times. DeWitt makes a dead on repro...will even stamp the date for you. Don't even bother trying to find somebody to fix, weld, rod, restore, etc. the old one. Chuck
Thanks guys for your input. Pretty much as I figured. Gave my neighbor DeWitt's contact info from my NCRS mags. May be fine once flushed and leak checked. Probably been dry for 25 years. If nothing else, as a bare-bones novice, hope to help get this car back on the road and see what I can learn toward doing a few things on my '70 LT-1.
try this web site. (radiator.com) there out of calif. and ship overnite for free. ordered mine on thursday, had it by friday morning. i have a 73 s/b and the fee was $250.00. beats all the catalogs....good luck....
