Default 1980 power antenna question

can someone please help me? my power antenna motor is running constantly, and i will soon rreplace it, but in the mean timei want to cut the power wire that powers it because the same fuse that runs it, also runs my cig lighter for my radar detector and my horn. there are 3 wires grouped with the antenna coaxial, 2 white ones, and one pale green one. im asuming that the green is the nuetral and the whites are the up/down circuit loop. i havent cut one yet because i wasnt sure that these are those certain wires. i think the taillight/brake litewires are directly above them. im referring to the area behind my speaker mount at left rear of luggage area. any input will be much appreciated. thanx guys

Original antenna?
There should be a connector just the other side of that rubber grommit in the inner fender that all the ant wires go through. Pull it out.
You can also access it from behind the rear speaker/blockoff panel.
If you GOTTA cut something cut the green. It's both + or - so it would kill both up and down.
If it's a factory antenna the other two wires SHOULD be white and gray.

Also, if factory antenna, it's an easy fix.

thank you so much. i also found, after some research, that there is a power antenna relay beneath the cubby hole behind passenger seat. . for simplicity i may just cut the green wire. again thank you

I should have thought of that
I always forget that 80s have the relay there as do 81/82.
78/79 have it under the center console not quite as accessable.
Since you found the relay, why not just unplug the connector there?

Don't cut anything. Unplug the connectors are the relay.
