I just install a new flex plate on my new engine and torqued to 65-70 lbs , my concern is that I did not put locktite on the bolts .I just saw a youtube video and the guy used locktite Do you think it is a problem . Yes I have already put the engine back in .
I have installed them both with and without. If you motor is properly balanced you may not have a problem with them backing out. Over the last few years, I've always used loc-tite just as added insurance they won't loosen up...especially on race motors. You may not have a problem...or you may. Time will tell.

Its a brand new GM crate motor so I would hope it is balanced. Did you ever have any issues with the ones which you didnt use loc-tite.
You will not have a problem. I've probably bolted on hundreds of flex plates in my time and never used loctite and never had one come loose.
Don't sweat it.

As long as you've used the correct bolts (and not with lockwashers), you should have no problem. The hardened steel hex heads with the undercut on the bottom side of the head will bite into the flex plate and hold it just fine.
