Default what are those for?

I have this, which wasn't plugged so it's a little hard to trace those back with a wire diagram. Wondering if any of you would know what it is for:

Under the pass side dash:

under the shifter plate, this relay:

A: mono radio final output. Has to be connected or you will not hear any sound. Stereos had two final output transistors.

B: wiper relay.

Both are in the assembly instruction manual (AIM).

Do you have an owner's manual? If not, order a reprint when you order the AIM. Lots of useful information in the owner's manual.

(Psst, there's an owner's manual in the rear compartment, left side.)

When I put in the new radio, I bypassed that thing so you don't need it per se..

It is the power window relay. Plug it in and listen carefully when you turn the key to on and it will click. You can also feel it if you touch it when you turn the key.

A tip: it needs to be grounded or your power windows won't work. Ask me how I know.

Go to Doc Rebuild's site. There's wiring diagrams that are great.

Relay should have: 2-black & 1-green wire in one connector and 2nd connector should have 1-yellow & 1-blue wire, all for wiper connections.
