Default Outer mount bolt angle on fiber glass spring seem to be incorrect

Hey Forum. I installed a new fiber glass spring and an outer mount bolt kit. I was expecting the bolt to be straight up and down when the car is on the ground. This is not happening. The outer mount bolt is at an angle. It almost appears to be in a bind. I understand the car is in the air, but I see the same when the car is on the ground. Included are several pictures. Please help me decide if there is a problem or something that I should resolve. Thanks Sam

Typical. Its probably just a little high in the rear too, which makes it more pronounced.

Roll it back and forth a couple times and make sure it settles before you adjust it too much.

One of the reasons I was concerned about the angle of the fiberglass mount bolt is that I am going to replace the mount bolt with an inch longer bolt to lower the ride height. Currently I have put about 1000 miles on the setup seen. Thanks

Unfortunately mine is in many small pieces so I can't check.
The side to side looks more or less what mine looked like, I don't recall it being off that much towards the back though. Looks like both sides are the same, leaning towards the rear of the car.
Maybe just check the front diff mount and make sure it's looking good (not all squashed or anything). If the front of the diff drops it would kick the spring tips back.
The other thing is if the arms are hanging much below the pivot bolt they would slightly forward of their neutral position, couldn't be much I wouldn't think though

I'm sure someone should have a pic of this though. (I'll have a look but I don't think I have one of that angle)

Do not lower it so far that the spring is near the tire - seriously!

Found some pics. Yes with the suspension hanging the bolt does angle back a little same as yours.

I also second the comment on watching the clearance to the tire with longer bolts. Depending on the tire bulge, the corner of that spring can be pretty close.
