huge problem!!!!!

I got a Marine buddy who rebuilds engines and is willing to give me a hand.
BUT Im a little short on cash to do a complete engine rebuild and mothers day isnt helping any either so what would be the best route to take. The engine has leaks around the heads and intake manifold. I was thinking do all the gaskets and seals and the bearings and have some left over cash for a "Im sorry I forgot mothers day card".

P.S my buddy has all the tools and he will do it for A SIX PACK! get behind me fellas, Marines are tough but wives are deadly

I know but my buddy leaves in june or july and my wife well she plans on sticking around.......REGARDLESS!

Do you mean replace the entire set up or adjustments. The car runs fine its a daily driver but i know it has a lot more in it

If it is just the leaks you are concerned about, even the bearings for that matter, the job isn't that difficult and many of the tools could be rented.
