you have a collectable classic car, keep it that way.
remove and rebuild the orginal alternator, they look just fine cleaned up.
No reason to go to 1 wire alternator, they do not work as well,
because they have no voltage sense connection.
you can rebuild with higher output if you run lots of electronics.
