Re: Look at the forums german brother !!! (454Big)
Greetings from Finland! It's always great to see other European enthusists! Last September I participated Corvette Club of France meeting in Southern France. It was very nice to share info and thoughts with other people.
If somebody is interested in Corvette Club of Finland their website can be found from http://www.corvettefinland.com.

It amazes me how these cars, even with all their flaws and quirks, are so popular worldwide. It would be incredible to cruise Europe in a modified c-3 capable of 150 mph cruise speed through all the historic sites and scenery. I have always wanted to vacation in Europe and see the country side first hand. When I make it across the pond I will be looking myEuropean brothers up. How awesome would it be to take a month long jourey through Europe? Well it would be for us Yankees. ;)
Re: Look at the forums german brother !!! (454Big)
I spent a year in europe (Sweden) and the gearheads over there are even more dedicated than most of us here! It is much harder to get parts over in europe so you have to use whatever you can find. I would love to take one of the vettes over and cruise on the autobahn! I sent from Sweden to Prague on a car trip and it was great! We drove all the way through Germany on the autobahn. 120MPH+ rules! The only time we slowed below 100MPH was when we got to a town. We were driving a BMW 628csi with a turbo. Lots of fun! Got wasted by a 930 Porsche. Thing had to be doing 150+!
Re: Look at the forums german brother !!! (Twinnie)
My soon to be wife is from Austria and she told me that she can't ever remember seeing a Corvette out on the road. I have travelled throughout southern Europe over the years and I never saw a Vette. But I have thought how much fun my Vette would be over there. The biggest problem that I could see is very few people would be able to fix them and parts is a problem
I have a 6 language livin interpreter. So I'll have her look at your site for me when she fly's back. The funny thing is English is her worst language.

I owned 2 Corvettes during I lived in Austria (until age 26). My first one was a 1969 Convertible and then a 86 Coupe.
I usually saw other Vettes once or twice a month... One time I went to a Corvette meeting at a Austrian Race Circuit (Oesterreichring) which was organized by a Swiss Corvette Club. There were 100's of Vettes from all over Europe - including RACE Vettes... (This was 12 years ago)
