No longer running like crap
2 weeks ago I took my 70 out for a ride and it felt like it was running on 6 cylinders kept popping through the pipes. I went to check the timing and was not getting a pulse when I hooked to light up by the plugs moved the clip up by the cap and got a pulse. I tried this on a few wires.
I pulled the plugs and they were all black. The motor is original 350 350hp rebuilt 2 years ago. A bunch of people said it had to be the carb as the plugs were black. The carb was done by Lars 3 years ago.
I decide to put a Pertronix ignitor 2 and blaster cool in as well as a set of plugs. The car has never run this good. Idle better then ever and when I jump on it, it pulls better then ever. The points did look a little crappy.
For the $129 I spent for the Pertronix and coil well worth the money and no one call tell its there.
