switch on transmission is likely stuck. Look under hood just to the driver's side of the wiper motor and there should be a connector ( black and L shaped) that comes out of the firewall and has green and pink wires. Unplug it until you can get the car on a lift to check out the trans backup switch. I'd bet switch is out of alignment.
