Default Big Block ac compressor pulley diameter

Anyone know what the correct compressor pulley diameter is for a big block? My car is a '70. I have heard of a 5 1/8" and 5 5/8" diameter pulley's. Do you know if those are correct for corvette, and which is for small vs big block? thanks, Steve

If memory serves, there weren't different compressor pulleys for big blocks...the same compressor (and pulley) was used on everything. They were'nt even vette specific.

Not sure of the diameter and that may not be important. The assembly instruction manual (AIM) will list the original GM part number for your pulley. Go with the correct part number.

The AIM will also list the part number or the correct AC belt.
