Default Front Tires

I am looking at Fire Stone, or maybee Goodyear for some front tires on my 1968 vette. I have Micky Tompsons on the back already, and I need something on the front for cornering. Any ideas?

If you are non hell bent you need to set your sights a little higher and move onto 17/18 inch performance tires.

They just do not sell road holding tires in 15 inch. I got ride of my bfg 15 V rated around 1996 and I had 8.5 fronts and 10 rears with 255 and 275

Thanks for that information. Did you have to do any modifications to the rear end to get your 275 tires on it?

Back in my 15 inch American racing wheels days i had 4.5 inch back spacing on all 4. My rear 275/60/15 or maybe 50 series. They were a really tall tire like just under 28 inches. I didn't like them. Right after that I bought 17 inch wheels

Ya, your right, I need 17 inch wheels. Do you know any place that will sell anything for performance that would look close to origial on a 1968?
