Alarm System Trouble
The factory Alarm System on my 1979 L82 has never worked since I got it. But now, it is honking the horn and flashing the lights whenever I have the ignition switch on. Two beeps...6 seconds...one beep...repeat. No reason. The hood pin has been missing forever. I cannot understand why it is suddenly activated. I have pulled the wires to the horns, but it still makes loud clicks inside the steering column and it still flashes the marker lamps at the same pace. Any ideas why this is happening and how to correct it would be helpful.

If I remember right there is a wire that you can disconnect between the seats by where your emergesie brake ,you need to take the cover off on the drivers side,its been along time since I had my 79 ,mine didnt work either.
