Rear Suspension

Got the new metal bracket from Corvette Central, I think most on-line carry it
Not too bad of a job once you break off the caged nut

(See my thread on the wonders of square tubing)
Once I cut the rivets off and got the tin out of the way, checked the measurement at the frame/body.
put some plywood under the body just on top of the frame, pry up with a bar just enough to slip the mount/shims out and insert an aluminum bar that happened to be the same thickness
Clean everything up
I cut the rear tab down some on the new mount down so it would fit back in without having to lift the body anymore
I used some panel bond to help secure the new tin to the body
Pry it back up slightly and slip the new tin in and the mount/shims
Line everything up and re-rivet using original holes (except the one one the rear tab that's gone now)
