Default made in china

could not understand why my headlights would not open and close. i redid the seal on the actuators replaced the relays checked hoses and every thing else. i even put the air tank under pressure and sprayed it with soapy water no leaks. then i got a wild hair and checked the made in China relays i bought at, well i wont name the place but there initials are ECKLERS LOL. i submerged one in a pan of water with a hose i blew thru and air came straight thru and the main body was cracked. i broke it open and there was a split o ring on the shaft causing a massive air leak. so double check even the new stuff. I'm glad the Chinese build most of there on military ordinance.

Well, since our government purchases from the "lowest bidder", our military equipment probably has some of that foreign junk in it too!

I'm beggining to think rebuilt original parts where ever they are available. The Chinese can make good parts. It depends on what the company purchasing is willing to pay. They buy cheap junk and pass it on to us at a bigger profit.IR impact drivers are made in china now.Our own government has pretty much chased off big companies. They have been regulate d to death. Thanks EPA.I had one of the headlight accuators go out after 2 years of very little use.Car sat while I was working on it.I'm sure its just a coincidence but it did come from ecklers.I have bought other things from them without any problems.

I agree lots with "rugerm", as not exactly like chinese people are stupid or anything. Problem is, there's little regulation there, so could be very good stuff or knock off junk. I tend to stay away from it, except toy trucks for my nephews.

I have a hong kong Chinese wife,
They have the best of everything and it's all new.You ask for **** and they will fill the order. The parts suppliers in the US even repackage brake pads to fool us.why these companies choose to go to the extreme to save a few cents is mind boggling ?I have had a couple of experiences with them.No troubles at all.i am from the Cnc aerospace industry. The Japanese use them for much of there manufacturing.Highly trained engineers with state of the art equipment .If we don't retool in this country we will loose decades trying to play catch up.Some how we have been conditioned to be leave labor cost and unions are the reason.Gm claimed BK and was the largest producer of cars in china?
They issue suv's to gov employees .It is all greed and it is hidden behind capitalism .The communist are all about money always have been. They are all full of hit. This new wave of world communication seems to be shedding light so hopefully it will come to light and balance out.
Ever wonder how a suburban plant can to Mexico and the price never went down.it went up 5% the first year.
One more ,the Lincoln navacater in 2002 was the most profitable veicals on the planet.cost was in the 18k range.30k profit???
I like to make money to butno matter how hard I try my purchasing power is not increasing!!

Okay. So you got a bad part. It happens. The other relay appears to be okay. Where the bad one was made really doesn't make difference.
