Default Rear Mono leaf spring setup..

Does anyone have a picture of the Rear Dual-Mount Spring Kit setup that Vette Brakes offers. I have the front, but I'm thinking about getting the rear also. Is the spring shorter? My bolts that adjust the ride height are extremely close to the tires. Also, does Van Steele have a similiar product..

Thanks

Here's a couple of shots of mine... I'll try to get some more snaps today with the wheels/tires on...

Thanks for the pictures Rogman, so it still uses the 8 or 10 inch bolts. I guess the only way to avoid them is to go coil overs. Way to much money for me. I'll be ording some time this week.
Looks good.

Not sure what year Your Vette is the Pictures above ar for a 79 and older. The 80-82 setup uses an Aluminum bracket that bolts to the Aluminum houseing. VB&P can make a Shorter Spring if thats what You want. However the Bolts will be at more of an Angle if You do. I cut off the Corner of the Spring where it is close to the Rim. This voids the Waranty but dosn't affect it otherwise.

Mine is a 77. If the bolts go down in an angle would they not hit the tire easier then just straight down. I don't have a problem cutting the corner off. That may be the best bet.
Thanks

Sorry, I looked at the pictures again and if a shorter spring the bolts will be angled away from the tire. What would be the down side of the bolts being angled?

The Bolts are not straight up and down stock. As they sit in Rubber Doughnuts and pass threw round holes the Bolts will start rubbing if they are angled. It would be nice if the aftermarket Trailing Arms offered inboard Spring Bolt options. The larger the Rim size the more room You will end up with. You may find that the Spring and Bolt setup might fit up inside the Rim if it is 17 or larger. If so plan on useing the Bolts up side down.

Mine is a 76 with 18" wheels and come to think of it, I ordered my rear spring 1/2" shorter from vbp
