Default brake advice

I am restoring a 75 with power brakes that has been sitting for 2 years before I bought it last year.

My calipers and master cylinder are leaking and am wondering what is the best direction...replacement, rebuild or complete kit.

I have been reading many post but a lot are old, I am looking for current results/recommendations because it seems things have changed (vendors etc).

Also, any recommendations for shocks (looking for street performance)

thanks

Do your calipers have the stainless inserts? If so then get a O-ring rebuild kit.

If not then probably better to buy Refurb ones that have the stainless inserts.

I am also in the same boat. My plan is to remove my calipers and if they have the stainless inserts then I will O-ring them. If not then I will go to advance and buy refurbs.

Disassemble the master and see how much corrosion if any is present. If a light surface only amount is found, get a rebuild kit, otherwise a new one.

Oh and for shocks Bilstein is what most recommend, esp if you have/want a fiber rear spring.
KYBs are 2nd for performance but most seem to say they don't handle the fiber rear spring as well but work fine for factory setups.
If you want smooth factory type ride then Monroes.
