I was wondering if anyone has come across a vendor who sells stainless steel brake caliper pistons? The last time I took my calipers apart to rebuild, I could hardly tell that the pistons were pistons they were so badly corroded. At the time, I went to Stainless Steel Brakes in Clarence, N.Y. and they sold both the OE aluminums and a S.S. piston that they manufactured. Wished I'd have bought the S.S. at the time.(Now they don't sell to the public at their shop.) Didn't see any in the Corvette America catalog I just received. Maybe they quit making them or there was a reason they didn't go over. Anybody know? Thanks guys, and again, this is an awesome forum.

I personally have never made them before but I think if you walked into a competent machine shop with one of your pistons they could make you four pistons out of whatever you would like them to use. I personally would go with aluminum.
