Default Master cylinder problem solved!!!!!!

After replacing 2 brand new "Right Stuff" (the manufacturer) master cylinders (made in China and/or Mexico) I got a "SSBC" master cylinder (made in the good ole USA)....AND NOW THE BRAKES WORK PERFECTLY!!!!! Now, when you apply the brakes, they feel SOLID and they respect you!!! And the pedal travel....perfect!!! Now I feel completely safe when applying the brakes whereas before...it was a crap-shoot The one made overseas was about $77 and the SSBC $400. If you hit someone because of faulty brakes...the difference of $300 is NOTHING compared to the hell you'll go through with lawsuits, crunched Vette and, not to mention, injuries! From now on, if I have a choice....nothing but AMERICAN made!!

RIGHT STUFF

Gorgeous piece.

I've heard it many times: if you buy cheap you buy twice.

I can attest this is true.

I don't like paying more than I have to, but I've learned this lesson the hard way.

Don't buy 'knock-off' parts, when it comes to safety issues. There's usually a reason why the knock-offs are so much cheaper.... That's because it costs more money to make it RIGHT!!!

Imagine that: the 'right stuff' was not right after all.

I am a strong believer that you always get what you pay for, always!

I have the same MC, no problems after almost 8 yrs.

My motto used in our auto parts store was, "Only junk is cheap, Quality never is".........
