Refloating the Corvette Valdeze
I have been out of work for nearly a year now due to heart problems and living on $120 and the same amount in food stamps from the state waiting for my Disability to be aproved for social security and in that time the corvette has had to suffer with a growing number of leaks from the heater hoses, rubber transmission lines and its pan gasket also a constant problem with the valve cover leaking hence Corvette Valdeze she was going through oil and transmission fluid like nothing else it was biginning to get embarressing to drive it for all the smoke that would come out from under the hood at a light.Well my SS has finaly come through so I have the money replaced the belts and darn near every hose on the car ,changed the transmission filter, oil filter to try and get her back up to par with the little money I get Ill improve what I can month by month I plan on doing somthing with my rutsy exaust that I found has been digging into my trans pan and left a very deep groove in it after that a new set of tires for the front the list goes on and on. Im fortunate enough to know how to repair most anything in the car myself thats one of the big reasons I love these old cars I can figure them out.So until the doctor says I can go back to work and that doesnt look like any time soon I plan to enjoy the summer going to carshows and club meetings ,the lake and chatting with you goofballs. :jester
