For most of us, contorting one's body to reach the nuts securing the brake booster is a no-fun job.
AMEN!
Definitely, the way to go, especially with available serrated studs:
Hi Dustup,
Getting ready to do this install along with the Borgeson box. Please post up details on the studs you used. Where did you get them? What size are they? Part numbers & price would be nice, too.

Oh, good questions. I don't have any current prices, other than what has already been posted and IIRC, that was close to what I paid.
This is what I do know: 10mm dia x 1.5mm thread pitch (might be 1.25mm) x 40mm length. I'm pretty sure these are wheel studs to have the serrations under the round head. Like any wheel stud, the only tool the flat-round heads are shaped for is a hammer or just pull them up tight, to secure them. Guessing they are Grade 8.
I bought SS flat-washers and nylon locking nuts. Didn't want them vibrating off or getting rusty. Even the one SS odd-ball regular nut I used, has held torque, no issue.
I bought them at my local ACE hardware store. The one near my home stocks a real wide selection of all types of nuts and bolts, in ASE and metric. Sorry can't confirm price; that receipt is long gone.
Hope that helps and let me know if you need more info.
They arrived this afternoon and just came in from installing - total time of 25-30 minutes and ZERO contorting under the dash. A piece of wire and some dental floss was all it took.
This is the absolute best way to install, hands down, bar none.
