Default bleeding brakes ?

Hi
I bled my 68 Vette brakes and replaced the fluid at the same time.
I only used the caliper's bleed ports. What are the master cylinder's bleed ports ( 2 each ) for ?
Thanks Gunther :seeya

Those are for bleeding the MC. Only necessary if you let the MC run dry while bleeding the system.

The bleeders are there for testing the m/c without having to disconnect the lines. The m/c for my Pinto doesn't have bleeders, so I have to test the unit before I install it (should be tested before install anyway), and if I have a problem with my system and suspect the m/c I have to pull the m/c to test it. I suppose you can bleed the m/c if you want, just like with the caliper bleeders, but any air in the m/c should be pushed through the system and out the calipers, unless your m/c is designed so that air gets trapped at the bleeders.
