1982 Cruise Control Surge
Hey guys and gals,
Have any of you had a problem with your cruise control surging? I will set mine and it will not hold. It will let the speed slow approximately 3 mph and then re-engage to set speed.
Would appreciate some troubleshooting help from a very smart bunch of people. Thank you in advance.

Vacuum leaks usually cause the set speed to creep slowly up. Check your shop manual. If I remember correctly there is an adjustment on the cruise module for what you are describing.
