I'm trying to install the center interior panel (between the t-tops). The panel that came is for '76 (late) to '77, however, in my AIM, it shows that two of the three studs on the panel were removed for my '77. So, trying to understand what has to be done (and before I chop the studs off and ruin a perfectly good part), I thought I'd better ask here.
Do I just lop off those two studs that don't exist on the old one? Are there other "modifications" that would be better?

After not seeing a response, and not getting one from Corvette America, I opted for the surgery on the panel. it has been installed, and is looking good. (I am posting this for the searchers if anyone sees this in the future.)
