Default Got my Demon!

Soon, the car will be DEMON powered!! I got my 750 Speed Demon in today. Now I just need the little adapter fittings that are for sale on Summit's site...that are always on back-order. Anyone know where I can get them?

:smash: Puttin' it on as soon as I have the fittings!

I have heard those addaptor plates restrict air flow somewhat. But with a 750 it might not matter that much. Have you tried any local parts or performance stores to see if they carry the plates?

Rainman69--what adapter are you talking about? How about sharing a Summit page or part number? I'm going to try to install my Road Demon this weekend.

Sorry, couldn't get on their website last night. Here's a picture and a description:

"Standard 3/8 in. tube, 9/16 in.-24 male threads with 5/8 in.-18 female threads, fuel bowl fitting"

The adapters are for the fuel line. Mine was on back order too, but I guess I got luck in that they showed up...a few days after the carb, and intime for the install. Have you tried a local performance shop....they're just standard fuel line fittings (not demon specific). Of course it'll cost you more than summit, but if time is valuable...may be worth looking around.

the tech guys at Summit will have the Russel fuel line fitting book. The only way to go is a twin feed fuel log they are $79.95 8 an fittings. So you also need the 8 AN inline filter and a 8 AN to 3/8th adapter to hook up you gas line.

They make a quick disconnect fuel log which I wished I would have bought. They you could really change the jets fast.

Well, I've never liked the "log" look...so I got a little creative and came up with a very classy looking stainless steel 3/8" line and -6 AN fittings and a pressure gauge to boot. All I have to do is work out how to mount the filter...and I'm go to install. I'll try to get pictures of the line.
