Default 1976 Alarm Questions

A PO had taken the alarm key switch off of the side of the car...that shaved look. Thankfully the wires and the switch are there. I have the measurements from another member of where to put it. I was looking at another 1976 Corvette today and noticed that there is supposed to be a bracket on the inside of the drivers side fender. I have been looking everywhere to see what this bracket it called and where to possibly get one so that I can get this done. Any ideas?

Sorry but that isn't the part that I am thinking of. It looks like a bracket or "shelf" that appears to have adhesive holding it to the side of the fender just below the washer fluid container.

The switch is the same one that is used on the headlight doors.
