Inductive pickup
In my F.A.S.T. ECU fuel injection kit there is a Inductive pickup harness. IPU for short. I want to buy a MSD distributor, are all MSD distrubutors the IPU style... is this what they call a magnetic trigger. Im confused here.

look for a member over in C4 tech. named Dr. Huxtable, He's installing the FAST on a C4 and his thread with pictures and others who've done that conversion are excellent.

mag trigger and IPU mean and are the same thing. Almost all MSD dizzys are mag trigger and will work. That said, you should probably look at the FAST dual sync as it has a number of advantages. Give me a call at 305-235-6160 if you need more help

Ok that clears that up, thanks to both of you.
On the duel sync, I will be installing a digital dash from Nordskog, I read a thread that crank triggers and duel syncs will interfere with them.
