I have read .5, .525, .54, and .456. SOOO what is it?
I have not yet ditched the crossfire had it running good for awhile after finding a vaccum leak. I rebalanced the tbi's and wow that cured the stumble . Now the variable idle CEL says code 22 BS i check it it is the same as what i set it to.
What does the coolant sensor do i noticed in a diagram it is tied directly to the tps. Is there a Vom way to test the collant sensor?
If you are getting varying readings from the TPS [at any specific position], then the coil/wiper are failing and it should be replaced, anyway. Good luck.

Help me out. What do you mean "coil/wiper"? Is that part of the internals of a tps?
Over time the inner workings of the switch wear just like your radio used to make static and cut out when you cranked up Foghat back in the day. If you take a resistance reading at the disconnected TPS across the two terminals ground and signal you should see a smooth increase of resistance when moving the throttle. If it is bad the resistance will be choppy possibly cut out or not change at all. Please feel free to correct me if i am wrong i have yet to resolve my TPS code 22 issue. I replaced the switch which was bad, IAC's,coolant temp sensor and fixed vacuum leaks while improving my situation it has not corrected surging stumbling when the car is cold or driven 5+ miles then it levels out and runs good.
