Watching lars posts over the yrs i noticed one he had nothing to positive to say about the edlebrock carb. As a joke i said he told me edelbrock was the finest carb money can buy, he got the joke.

The " inferior " factory part folks as you call them got rid of carbs and all there problems 30 yrs ago the europeans long time before that.

Give Lars a six-pack, and he could probably get a coffee can with a hole in the bottom running half-decent. But then you'd have people saying things like "Those Maxwell House coffee cans don't run worth squat, ya gotta go with a Folger's can if ya want to go fast!"

Sorry, Master Chef has the finest coffee cans for carbs. They cost half what that way overpriced folgers/maxwell house cans cost. You can run two Master Chef carbs for the price of one of those. All really fast cars have two coffee cans unless rules forbid it. I was in the pitts just the other day talking to Greg Anderson he says he uses Master Chef carbs exclusively. He seems to be right i kept walking around the pitts everyone had Master Chef carbs even the little guys that could only afford one Master Chef carb, i did see three edelbrocks. I was not aware that edelbrock even made coffee cans. You learn something new every day.

Just asking, but technically, wouldn't a coffee can/ hole in bottom be referred to as a "Holely"?
