A needle scaler is only good for cast iron and maybe your frame. Not good for use on sheetmetal or other light metals. I use one when removing loose paint and rust on antique tractors.

I used two coats, brushed on. I wait three hours between POR 15 coats and then an hour wait for the top coat. Once its dry its thicker than what you would think it would be.
