Default Power to radio

I am in the process of redoing my center console. The usual such as bulbs, redo the a/c control, etc, etc,. Installed the Keen Parts radio. When I removed the old radio and replaced it I used the original 3 prong plug to obtain my power and ground. The third prong is for the radio dial light. I used the cigerette lighter wire for my constant (memory power).

My question is, and I guess I never notoced with the old radio is the radio power wire is only hot in the ignition switch "on" position. I would like to be able to play the radio while the switch is in acc. posistion. I cannot seem to find a connector that is hot in both acc. and on posistion.

Any suggestions?

I am pretty sure there are three wires for the radio red (power), black (ground) and gray (acc) wire.

Stinger. Three wires there is. On my 73 it's red(12V) with ignition in "on" posistion, black (ground) and gray or blue which is the radio dial light.
