Default Temperature Sensors
Is the auxilary electric radiator fan on the 1981 Vette controlled by the same temperature sensor that operates the temperature gauge?

No, it has it's own sensor on the rear passenger side head and has 2 prongs not one.

The one between cylinders 6 & 8?
I was wondering what that sensor did.

Thats it. Follow the wires to the harness and it will run to the fan. There have been other threads about it. There is a temp range that it will power up the fan. Its not like a modern car that when you put the AC on the fan goes on.
