Fuel Pump Push Rod
Doing a top end refresh on my 1975 L-82. Just installed a Lunati 268 Flat Tappet Cam but can’t find a straight answer on the Fuel Pump Push Rod. It fell out when I was replacing the gasket for the plate to the block. Both ends appear similar to me and I think I reinstalled it in the same way but need to know for piece of mind. Is the push rod directional? Are one or both ends convex, such that the push rod rotates in it's bore in a similar fashion to the way a flat tappet lifter would rotate?
