Oil Pressure Sender
The oil pressure gauge in my '79 is reading low. It started fairly suddenly and the engine is fresh. (Couple years - maybe 5000 miles). I suspect the sender. Does anyone know what the GM part number is for the correct sender with an 80 lb. gauge. Also what resistance should the sender read at various pressures?

The oil pressure sender puts out 0-90 ohms. 90 ohms being 80 lbs, 45 is 40..
You sure you want the GM sender.. they are around 100.00 bucks.
Have a very good dependable replacement that is a fraction of that.
