Probably 8, the main thing is the tone difference. The vettepacks still have volume at WOT but it's not the deep, deep never changing tone that the max flows have. You couldn't tell the different RPM sounds an engine makes with the max flows but the vettepacks you get that good running through the RPM range tone changes.
I've been running max-flos for 5 years now and I don't have a clue as to what you're talking about here.

It's kinda hard to put in words what the sound was like in my case but engine compression and cam would have a lot to do with it too so it's just the way they worked in my ride. The tone was very annoying, especially at highway speeds, just a consistent tone that almost gave your ears a warm fuzzy feeling that wasn't good even with the windows up.
The other thing is being a coupe the sound gets trapped in the interior whereas the guys with convertibles don't get that reverberating sound inside the cabin area.
Don't get me wrong I'm not bashing these inserts they just didn't work for my taste.
I took the car to Lightning and my friend who is a certified instructor was trying to help me. You slide an ear piece and microphone into your helmet. There were times we just could not hear each other. They Max Flows are that load.
(subjective comment: my theory is NOT dyno tested) But, of all the inserts I have tried the Max Flows seem to let the engine break and produce the most HP.
