So, I put a new 383 stroker in and put everything on and was ready to fire it up when I realized I didn't connect the clutch linkage. I went to put it on and realized the new block didn't have the pivot ball on it and I couldn't find the hole where it goes. After some research on here I found out I have to drill it out and tap it my self. Please don't tell me I have to yank the motor cause it was hell going in. Please help!!!
Seriously, though, I would think that the hole would have to be drilled pretty straight, and that would be difficult, but perhaps possible, with the engine still in the car. Do you have all the accessories hooked up, coolant, etc.? If not, I'd think about pulling the engine back out.
