MasterCylinder Replacement
I now need to get a new master cylinder, was thinking of going with the Wilwood part number 260-8556P (power brakes) but have a couple of questions:
1. Will it operate with the old style calipers?
2. Will the brake lines install without modification?
This web site http://www.cssbinc.com/1967-76non-po...inder-new.aspx shows a replacement M/C that I have never seen. Has any one used or heard anything good or bad about them? Appears the added bleeders are to make bench bleeding easier?
I know there is major work in front of me as far as bench bleeding new M/C and bleeding entire system. I have read as many posts concerning this as my eyes will allow
I already wear pretty thick glasses
I've got a question or two about what I've read concerning gravity bleeding. Is it really as simple as attaching drain hose to all bleeders funneling to a fluid catcher (jar), opening all the bleeders up, making sure M/C is full of fluid at all times and waiting for the fluid to flow?
Once this is done, each of the calipers needs to bled individually starting with the farthest away, correct?
