Default Wiper Blade Replacement - How To?

G'day Guy's,
I've done a search, but have had no luck finding any directions on how to repace the wiper blades on my 69 vert. How the hell do you get the wiper arms to a position so you can replace the rubber blades?
I know that you guy's will have the answers, you've never failed me before.

Thanks in advance... Mark

Round button at the bottom of the steering column. Override switch.

sounds like you need to buy an owners manual, as stated above, turn the wipers on and when they are in the full up position, turn the round **** under the dash where the steering column is to stop their motion.

You may want to wet the windshield first to avoid scratching it.

Hi maf,
If you have a battery disconnect switch you can use that to stop the arms in the up position too.

Alan

Thanks for the tip Allen, I have one but hadn't thought of that. Talk about thinking out of the box! As usual you are a wealth of information.
